  To begin with, I was curious as to when someone starts yearning for acceptance. Is it when we were born? Is it the first time we feel the pain of rejection? If so, does it happen when we begin to be tested in sports? Is it when we give in to 'peer pressure,' which is a hot topic these days? If we're lucky, this will happen when we're in a relationship. The first day of a new job, perhaps? If so, is it when we add a new member to our family? The answer to this question depends on where we're moving to. Every day we've developed the habit of filling the empty space left by today's fast-paced culture with meaningless fluff. To prevent boredom or idleness, we engage in a variety of activities throughout the day. On the other hand, loneliness is something we should try to avoid at all costs. There's no need to feel lonely or isolated when you're by yourself. It's critical to distinguish between solitude and loneliness. You may feel alone if you've lost a loved one or can't find anyone who understands your situation. To be lonely, one must be alone or without company, as defined by Webster's dictionary. When we're on the hunt for love or approval, we're bound to feel empty. In other words, loneliness is a feeling that one can have even if one is not alone in the world.
